Three Waccamaw Warrior baseball players signed their letters on intent during a ceremony at the school Feb. 6.
Teammates Cam Burgess & Zach Saxton both signed to play with Limestone.
Cam Burgess said that he has always dreamed of playing after high school.
“It feels amazing,” Burgess said. “It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do since I was a little kid.”
Burgess said that he visited Limestone and fell in love with the campus.
“I visited their campus and I really liked what they had to offer,” Burgess said. “I feel like it is a really great fit.”
Zach Saxton said that he is excited to play for Limestone and also remain teammates with Burgess.
“It feels really good,” Saxton said. “This is something that I have been working hard for a while. Burgess being there kind of helped the situation a little bit.”
Walker Parler signed with USC-Lancaster.
“It feels special because I’ve been doing this since rec ball,” Parler said. “I had some interest signing for football but I feel that I will be a better baseball player."
