Georgetown scored the opening points of the night when running back Ishmael Taylor scored on a touchdown run with less than three minutes remaining in the first quarter.

Then before the quarter ended, running back Tyja Bradford scored a last minute touchdown with the first quarter ending 14-0 in Georgetown’s favor.

The second quarter saw Georgetown and Academic Magnet playing hard defensively to get in one another’s field until Georgetown wide receiver Jaden Kinard scored a on a touchdown run with a successful PAT at the 6:44 mark of the second quarter.

With 3:38 to go until hafltime, running back Malaki Johnson scored on a touchdown run with a good kick by back Jamari Geathers. Bulldogs went into halftime with a 28-0 lead.

After halftime’s Senior Night celebration, the Bulldogs came back overwhelming the Raptors defense with Taylor running in a touchdown at the 7:17 mark of the third quarter.

The Bulldogs scored another touchdown by Johnson in the last minute of the quarter with Georgtown closing out the third quarter with a 41-0 lead.

In the fourth quarter, Raptors had the ball pass intercepted by bulldogs’ back Micaiah Holmes, giving Georgetown possession of the ball. In the 5:40 mark of the fourth quarter, Geathers scored the final touchdown for the Bulldogs with Georgetown overwhelming the Raptors by a final score of 48-0.

The Bulldogs will travel to Aynor this Friday night to take on the Blue Jackets in the first round of the playoffs.
