The Georgetown High School girls’ tennis team had a pair of road games Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

On Sept. 30, the Georgetown Bulldogs beat Manning on the road, 4-3.

Winning in singles for Georgetown:

Alston Nash over Madison Ham, 6-1, 6-1.

Journey Peters over Sadie Johnson, 6-2, 6-1

Tara Hemeon defeated Tori Beth Weeks, 6-1, 6-3.

Caroline Baker lost to Jada Griffen-Twine, 7-5. 6-3.

Catherine Wall lost to Lorena Sanchez, 7-6, 6-3.

Winning in doubles for Georgetown:

Alston Nash and Journey Peters over Madison Ham and Sadie Johnson, 6-1, 6-1.

Kenlin McKenzie and Abigail Condon lost to Tracie Holladay and Emma Failmelzegar, 2-6,7-6, 8-10.

On Oct. 1, Bishop England defeated Georgetown, 6-1.
