I will be attending Clemson University to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.

What’s your favorite thing about your high school?

My favorite thing about my high school is the extracurricular activities that allow students to be involved.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a teacher.

After I graduate, I will be atending Clemson University to major in biology, and then I plan to attend medical school to pursue a career in forensic pathology.

What’s your favorite thing about your high school?

My favorite thing about my high school is the faculty. It’s like having one big family.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was a child, I wanted to be a crab fisherman because my dad and I bonded over the show Deadliest Catch.

What is your favorite local eatery?

My favorite local eatery is Newton’s General Store Grill.

I wanted to be an artist.

My favorite thing about my high school is its NJROTC program and its instructors.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be many different things. The career I had in mind for the longest was to be a doctor.

My mom’s kitchen, honestly.

What are your post-graduate plans?

I will be attending Brown University this fall, and I will be a part of the gymnastics team there. Brown’s foundations are laid in a tradition of inclusion and are modeled by the Watson Institute, which is the program I plan to pursue as I will be majoring in International Relations.

What’s your favorite thing about your high school?

My favorite thing about Lowcountry is the sense of camaraderie throughout the entire school. Because of the small size, students are able to form incredible bonds with one another regardless of grade or class schedule. All four years of high school, I have had the same classmates, and it’s been amazing getting to watch everyone grow and mature into young adults.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was younger, I wanted to be a teacher because my mother and aunts were educators, and I’ve had some inspirational teachers along the way.

What is your favorite local eatery?

My favorite local eatery is Habaneros—I’ve been going since I was a little kid, and I always get the same thing! Plus, their queso is awesome.

What are your post-graduate plans?

In the fall, I will be attending Washington and Lee University. where I plan to major in business administration.

What’s your favorite thing about your high school?

Coming from a school that averages 15 students per grade, my favorite thing about this school is the close relationships formed between my peers and me. With so few students in each grade, my class has become over the years more like a family.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

As a child, I wanted more than anything to be a mermaid. Growing up in Pawleys, I was always charmed by the sea and dreamed of being a part of it.

What is your favorite local eatery?

My favorite local eatery is Frank’s Outback because the food is always amazing and the members of the staff are always friendly.

What are your post-graduate plans?

I will be attending Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. I have been accepted into an accelerated program where I will earn a B.S. in Clinical Health Studies and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in six years.

I really love how small my school is. It has given me the ability to get to know everyone. I have friends in every high school grade and know the names of

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a vet. In middle school and the beginnning of high school, I wanted to be a teacher. Most of the women in my family are teachers, so it seemed natural for me to follow that tradition.

What is your favorite local eatery?

When my family goes out to eat, nine times out of ten we go to Quigley’s. It’s my favorite place to go in Pawleys.

What are your post-graduate plans?

After graduation, I will be working as much as I can during the summer and then attend University of South Carolina in the fall to major in Criminal Justice.

One thing I love about my high school is how much they care about your success. With the help they provide, I really feel prepared for college.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I really liked the idea of being a police officer wearing the uniform and badge and, for the longest time, that’s what I wanted to be.

Habaneros.
