The one handicap parking space at the S.C. Maritime Museum (on Front Street in Georgetown) is being abused by people parking there for boat rides lasting four to six hours. Once they return from their boat ride they then go dining or shopping. These spaces were never intended for all-day parking and should be posted as such. Many of the people I’ve observed using this space can walk as fast and as far as the folks using public parking spaces.
