Ja'Quan Terrence Jamal Collins died on May 21, 2019, in Georgetown, South Carolina. Memorial services were held on May 31, 2019, at Howard Auditorium, conducted by Rev. Michael Burgess, pastor of Singleton Chapel A.M.E. Church.
Mr. Collins was born on November 3, 2000, in Georgetown, SC, the beloved son of Mr. Terrence Jamal Collins and Mrs. Myra Antonia White Collins. Lovingly known as "Quizzy", Ja'Quan attended school in Georgetown County. He graduated from Military School in Columbia, SC, in 2017. He was enrolled at PIA (Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics) School for Aeronautical Aviation Maintenance Technology. He also attended Horry Georgetown Technical College.
Surviving are his parents Mr. Terrence Jamal Collins and Mrs. Myra Antonia Collins, Georgetown, SC; his siblings: brother, Naiquan Shamal Collins, and two sisters, Taemaisha Cincere Collins, and Taeleigha Devine Collins, all of Georgetown, SC; his grandparents: Elizabeth Snow and Sheryl Collins, both of Georgetown SC, Henry Deas, Jr., McClellanville, SC, and Edner Pierre of Long Island NY; his great-grandmothers: Helen Collins and Eugenia P. Deas, both of Georgetown, SC. Memorial services entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.
