Yvonne Alicia Winley Collins

Yvonne Alicia Winley Collins died on July 11, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. Funeral services were held on July 18, 2019 at Dickerson African Methodist Episcopal Church, Rev. Elysa Syndab, pastor.

Mrs. Collins was born on July 21, 1952 in Georgetown, SC, to the marital union of Mr. Samuel L. Winley, Sr. and Mrs. Wilhelmenia Funny Winley. She was educated in Georgetown County public schools, where she graduated from Howard High School in 1970. Since early youth, she was a member of Dickerson A.M.E. Church, and served faithfully in many capacities. Yvonne was a dedicated employee of Universal Protection Services, as a Security Guard for many years, until retiring. On December 3, 2016, Yvonne married her soulmate, Mr. Mickel Collins.

Surviving are her husband, Mickel Collins; her mother, Mrs. Wilhelmenia F. Winley; her siblings, Bernard Winley and Regina Bibbs; her step-children, Sacajawea Collins and Michael Christopher Collins. Funeral services entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.

Sandra Gilliard

Sandra Gilliard died on July 11, 2018 at Regency Hospital in Florence, South Carolina. Funeral services were held on July 20, 2019 at Love Chapel Deliverance Center Church, Apostle Richard Frasier, pastor. The eulogy was delivered by Reverend Tocha Moore of Tabernacle of Praise International Church.

Ms. Gilliard was born April 20, 1958, in Georgetown, SC, the eldest of six siblings to James and Agnes Bryant. She was educated in Georgetown County, SC, where she graduated from Howard High School in 1978, and later furthered her studies at Horry Georgetown Technical College, earning an Associate’s Degree. At an early age, Sandra joined St. Luke Holiness Church. She spent most of her life rearing her children and serving the Lord in whatever capacity she could.{/span}

Surviving are her mother, Agnes Bryant; her children, Quiozell Gilliard, Brian Gilliard, Aaron Gilliard, and Nastashia Gilliard; seven grandchildren; her siblings, Virvitine Sharpe, Terrance Gilliard, Ricky Gilliard, Rodney Simmons, and James Bryant.
