George Rowe Townsend, age 91, of Pawleys Island
Ann Louise Coster age 82, of Pawleys Island died Sun., Sept. 14, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Coster was born in Port Washington, NY, to the late Florence and Frederick Ludwig. She grew up in New Cannan, CT.
Mrs. Coster was an avid sailor, golfer and gardener. Susie is predeceased by her husband of 54 years Robert R. Coster.
She is survived by her sons: James S. Coster and his wife Kathryn, Robert R. Coster Jr. and his wife Barbara, Thomas H. Coster and his wife Pamela; daughters: Andrea L. Coster, Catherine A. Coster and her husband Jeffrey Ehlers; grandchildren Drew, Rory, J. Robert, Taryn and Bryce as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A private inurnment will occur at a later date.

Annie Belle Mercer Smith, age 85, of Georgetown, the widow of Lewis Hill Smith Jr., went home to be with the Lord, Wed., Sept. 10, 2014 at Emerald Gardens of Greenwood.
Mrs. Smith was born the daughter of William Bryan Mercer and Vergie Eugenia Palmer Mercer on May 17, 1929 in Georgetown.
She was a 1946 graduate of Andrews High School and attended Coker College and Lander College.
She is a former employee with Monsanto, Belk and Wal-Mart. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Greenwood.
She leaves behind: three children, Lewis Hill (Avis) Smith III, William Douglas (Dale) Smith, and Phyllis S. (Mike) Massey; seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind: a brother, Earl Van Mercer; and a sister, Vera M. Goff.
She is predeceased by: her parents; her husband; and a brother, John T. Mercer.
Graveside service was at 11 a.m., Sat., Sept. 13, 2014, in the family cemetery.
The Smith family received family and friends immediately after the service.
