In Georgetown County action, Andrews traveled over to Georgetown and won 28-21. The Yellow Jackets improved to 2-0 and begin region play next week, hosting East Clarendon. The Bulldogs fell to 1-1 and will host St. James next Friday night.

Waccamaw had no trouble taking care of Military Magnet, as they won 46-12. The Warriors improved to 2-1 and will travel to North Charleston next Friday night.

Carvers Bay took care of business, beating Hemingway 26-6. The Bears improved to 1-1 and will host Mullins next Friday night.

St. James lost to North Myrtle Beach 29-7. The Sharks fell to 2-1 and will travel to Georgetown next Friday night.
