FBI to hold press conference about disappearance of Brittanee Drexel

According to a release from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the public will be given an update Wednesday, June 8, on the “latest developments” in the disappearance of Brittanee Drexel.

Drexel disappeared from Myrtle Beach in 2009, a then 17-year-old from New York, the teen was last seen by her friends on April 25, 2009, in Myrtle Beach.

According to FBI Supervisory Special Agent Don Wood, the agency will hold a press conference on Wednesday, June 8, at the McClellanville Magistrate’s Court, 10009 Highway 17 N., McClellanville.

Special Agent in Charge David A. Thomas, FBI; Chief Warren Gall, Myrtle Beach Police Department; Sheriff J. Al Cannon Jr., Charleston County; Sheriff S. Duane Lewis, Berkeley County; Chief Mark Keel, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division; and U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles will be attending the press conference.
