Kamala Harris is emerging as a front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination and continues making pit stops in South Carolina. She is scheduled for a “Town Hall” event in Myrtle Beach on July 8.
Her Myrtle Beach stop is one of three during her ninth trip to the Palmetto State as a presidential candidate. She will also be in Darlington and Florence on July 7.
In addition to attending Congressman Clyburn’s World Famous Fish Fry and speaking at the SCDP convention, she has previously held town halls and meet and greets in several locations across the state including Anderson, Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, Hemingway, Holly Hill, Myrtle Beach, Orangeburg, Rock Hill, St. George, and Spartanburg. She also visited several women-owned businesses, stopped by Rodney Scott’s BBQ for lunch, gave the keynote address at the SC NAACP Freedom Fund dinner, participated in the Planned Parenthood Action forum on reproductive rights, and attended the Pink Ice Gala with her fellow AKAs in Columbia.
The Horry County Town Hall is scheduled for 12:30pm at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 N. Oak Street.
