Horry-Georgetown Technical College will host an open house on June 18 at its Conway location for those interested in becoming a teacher or working in early childhood education.
Participants will be able to meet with faculty and obtain information about available programs and opportunities. Additionally, fincancial aid and admissions representatives will be in attendance to assist with the application process. Fees will be waived for those wishing to apply during the event.
HGTC offers several paths to education-related certifications included an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Early Care & Education, a Certificate in Early Childhood Development, an Associate in Arts Degree and an Education Transfer Path for those wanting to become K-12 teachers. HGTC also enjoys a transfer agreement with Coastal Carolina University.
