Bessie Clay and James Blankenship have joined the G3 Engineering and Survey teams respectively.
As a new CADD Tech II in G3 Engineering’s design team, Clay is responsible for producing and designing schematics, technical drawings, and plans. She works alongside multiple CADD technicians and designers with instruction from the project coordinator on the many diverse projects in the design phase. Bessie is a graduate of Horry Georgetown Technical College with an Associate in Applied Science in Construction Management Technology. A native to the Grand Strand area and North Myrtle Beach High alum, Bessie lives in Myrtle Beach with her husband, Brandon, and daughter, Evelyn.
G3 Surveying’s design team is excited to welcome Blankenship in the new position of Survey Tech.
He is responsible for verifying data and making maps for engineering and construction purposes. James works alongside the surveying crews with instruction from the project manager on all data collected at survey sites. Currently enrolled and pursuing a Civil Engineering Technology degree at Horry Georgetown Technical College, James hopes to further his education and career by obtaining his PE license in the near future. Originally from Princeton, West Virginia, he now resides in Surfside Beach.
HGTC has campuses in Georgetown, Conway and Myrtle Beach. On August 26, HGTC opened the doors of its new Advanced Manufacturing Center in Georgetown.
The G3 team is currently comprised of 25 employees and looking to fill several positions within the company.
G3 is located at 24 Commerce Drive in Pawleys Island and provides land surveying, design, permitting and construction consulting services to North and South Carolina municipalities, non-profits, medical facilities, entrepreneurs, real estate agents and land developers.
