A man is wanted for murder in connection to a shooting in Pawleys Island last week that left two men dead.
Deputies are searching for 30-year-old Jarvis Trymaine Jamison. He is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office. He was identified as a suspect late Wednesday.
The shooting happened early Friday morning at TC's Lounge on Petigru Drive in Pawleys Island. The two men who died are 28-year-old Matthew Cobb Jr. of Hemingway and 28-year-old Tevin Washington of Georgetown, according to the Georgetown County Coroner’s Office.
Another man, 27-year-old Mitchell Lee Hill, was shot in the chest.
Deputies and EMS were called to the club around 3 a.m. Friday, according to an incident report. When officers arrived, they found Hill on the ground outside the club. He'd been shot in the upper chest and his shirt was soaked in blood. A handgun was found on the ground next to him. EMS took Hill to Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Before deputies arrived at the club, Cobb and Washington had been taken to hospitals in personal vehicles. Washington was taken to Waccamaw hospital and later airlifted to Grand Strand Medical Center where he died. Cobb was taken to Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital before being airlifted to MUSC in Charleston where he was pronounced dead Friday.
Outside the club, deputies found multiple shell casings and another handgun on the ground.
The scene of the shooting is just north of Waverly Road. The property has multiple residences. County records show the land is owned by a private estate.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 843-546-5102.
