A man has been charged with murder in connection to a deadly shooting in late March in the Bloomingvale area of Williamsburg County.
Jasper Junior Sessions turned himself in to authorities in early April. He is charged with the deaths of James Dillon Edwards Davis, 23, and Raven Terrell Reid, 24. The shooting happened on March 31 in the community north of Andrews.
Weekend shootings injure 3
Williamsburg deputies on Wednesday continued to investigate separate shootings that happened last weekend.
On the night of April 12, a person was shot during an altercation at a residence on Country Club Road in the Andrews area, the Sheriff's Office said in a press release. The victim was found in the back seat of a vehicle and taken to a hospital.
On Monday, the Sheriff's Office said Dwayne Lewis Nesmith is wanted in connection to the shooting. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
The other shooting occurred around 4 a.m. Sunday when a person fired shots from the roadway outside Nate's Sports Lounge on Hemingway Highway. Two people suffered gunshot wounds and were treated at local hospitals.
As of Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office hadn't identified a suspect in that shooting. The victims' names were not released.
