A woman is being held in jail after a month-long investigation leads into seizure of more than 300 grams of heroin and loaded guns. The search warrant was a result of a month’s long investigation, drug purchases from the home and citizen complaints.
Tityonina Scott of Surfside Beach is pending warrants for trafficking heroin over 28g and possessing a firearm during a violent felony.
Deputies from the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office SWAT unit along with agents with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Units and Georgetown Police Department officers executed a drug related search warrant on Greentown Road in Georgetown Thursday.
During the search, agents recovered over 308 grams of heroin, 78.12 grams of an as yet unidentified powder substance, a loaded AK47 assault rifle, a loaded .40 cal pistol and a loaded 9mm pistol along with digital scales and packaging materials.
The seizure, conservatively, prevented over 3,000 dosage units from being sold on city and county streets and would have a street value of over $60,000 before being cut for street level sales.
Tityonina Scott has been booked since 3:30 p.m. Thursday and is currently being held in the Georgetown County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
