Mr. and Mrs. James Tallery Geiger

With stunning views of the Hudson Palisades in the background, Juexiao Zhang and James Tallery Geiger, of New York, were united in matrimony on August 8, 2017, in a garden ceremony at The Briarcliff Manor in Briarcliff Manor, New York. Sara Henderson officiated.

Juexiao, currently of New York, is the daughter of Dr. Yue Zhang and Mrs. Cuiqin Niu, of Langen, Hessen, Germany. She attended the Carl Phillip Emanuel Bach College of Music in Berlin, Germany, where she majored in cello and Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, where she majored in law. Currently she is attending Feitian College in New York where she is completing a Bachelor’s in Dance Pedagogy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. She is employed by Shen Yun Performing Arts.

Jimmy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. John Geiger of Wedgefield Plantation in Georgetown, South Carolina. Jimmy is a 2005 graduate of Georgetown High School. He is a graduate of the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors of Music in Trumpet Performance. He received the Masters of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of South Carolina, and a Professional Artist Certificate from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He is employed by Shen Yun Performing Arts.

Juexiao wore a wedding gown imported from Germany of satin and lace with a matching veil. Gemstones adorned the belted waistline. She carried a bouquet of red and white variegated roses. The maid of honor was Alice Liu, and special friend of the bride, Lina Cao, served as the Emcee and Interpreter. Eric Robins was the Best Man. Ring bearers were Master Declan Wilson and Master Andrew Liu.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at The Briarcliff Manor in Briarcliff Manor, New York. Special guests were family members of the bride from Germany and Beijing, China, and family and friends of the groom from Orlando, Florida, and Georgetown, South Carolina.

Following a honeymoon at Buttermilk Falls and New York City, the couple will make their home in Port Jervis, New York.

A rehearsal dinner was held at The Red Hat on the River in Irvington-On-Hudson, New York, hosted by the parents of the groom on August 7, 2017.

A wedding brunch was held for family and out of town guests at the Biddle Mansion on the grounds of the Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson in Tarrytown, New York. The bridal party and out of town guests stayed at the Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson and enjoyed the area where Washington Irving was inspired to write The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
