Christian recording artists will take the stage April 16-21 during the Singing In The Sun event at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Performances begin each evening at 6:30 p.m. The convention center is located at 2101 N. Oak St. in Myrtle Beach.

This year marks the 20th anniversary celebration for the event. In commemoration of this occasion, Abraham Productions, promoter of the event, will be giving away a new Ford Focus SE to one concert attendee on the final night of the event. Saturday night's concert line-up will feature the season No. 9 runner-up for the "Voice" television program, Emily Ann Roberts; Grammy-winning recording artist, Jason Crabb; Grammy-nominated vocal group, Karen Peck and New River; The Booth Brothers; The Erwins; speaker Jon Bowman; and an appearance by Miss North Carolina, Victoria Huggins.

“God has really, really blessed Abraham Productions with this event,” said Ray Flynn, Abraham Productions’ president. “We know there are people who have supported this event for years and we have always tried to give something back to the fans throughout those years. This year, we wanted to do something history-making in our genre, something not even secular events do.”

In addition to the Saturday night car give-away, more than $25,000 in cash and prizes will be given away to concert fans throughout the week-long event.

Recording artists scheduled to appear throughout the week include the Collingsworth Family, Guy Penrod, The Hoppers, The Talleys, The Whisnants, Greater Vision, Jeff and Sheri Easter. and many others. In addition, Robert Jeffress, host of the daily radio program, Pathway to Victory and pastor of First Baptist Church in Dallas; David Jeremiah, president of Turning Point Ministries and pastor of Shadow Mountain Church in El Cajon, California; Herb Reavis and C.T. Townsend will speak during the event.
