Front Street in Georgetown was the place to be for oyster-lovers to gather on Sunday, Nov. 3.
The Georgetown School hosted its Seventh Annual Oyster Roast from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Francis Marion Park. Tickets included all-you-can-eat oysters, chicken pilau, and hot dogs.
Local musician Will Ness provided his wonderful live music and created a mellow mood.
Soft drinks, beer, and wine were also served. There was also a Silent Auction (vacation getaways, etc.) and bake sale, plus lots of fellowship and fun.
All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund of The Georgetown School. Walk-ups were welcome.
