The Gibbonses, a musical husband and wife duo, will perform at Waccamaw Library.

Friends of the Waccamaw Library present The Gibbonses as the next installment of their free concert music series.

The Gibbonses, a talented husband and wife duo, will bring their high-energy, intimate stage show all the way from their home state of Texas to the DeBordieu Auditorium in Waccamaw Library in Pawleys Island, SC. They thread together strands of Southern soul, folk-rock, and R&B in weaving their own version of Americana music. They produce a captivating stage show that is a must-see for live music enthusiasts. Their unique instrumentation and rich harmonies deliver the sound of a much larger band, while the happy banter and loving smiles between the pair create a personal connection with their audience.

According to Cody Starr of Galleywinter, their “vocals are soulful and hypnotic.”

Ben Ryan of 95.9FM The Ranch, a Dallas radio station, has called them “musically powerful, in sync, and eclectic.”

As part of the FOWL Musicians Series, this a free concert that is open to the public. The Waccamaw Library is located at 41 St. Paul Pl., Pawleys Island.
