Kirby LeAnne Coker and Matthew Gerard Millwood of Pawleys Island were married on July 27.

Kirby LeAnne Coker and Matthew Gerard Millwood, both of Pawleys Island, were married July 27 at Price George Winyah Episcopal Church in Georgetown.

The Reverend David W. T. Thurlow officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony. .

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Chester Coker of Andrews. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and Master of Accountancy. She is employed as Senior Tax Manager with Webster Rogers.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Gerard Millwood of Murrells Inlet. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and received a bachelor’s degree in environmental geography. He is employed as a Community Planner/GIS Tech with the City of Georgetown.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an off-the-shoulder V-neck tulle gown with cap sleeves. Frosted embroidered lace was featured on the bodice and the cathedral train. The bride wore a waltz length beaded veil. She carried her paper white christening bonnet/ bride’s handkerchief and wore her grandmother’s pearl necklace along with a very special friend’s pearl bracelet and earrings. She carried a hand-wrapped bouquet of white hydrangeas, roses, white lisianthus, rananunculus and peonies surrounded by salal leaves and eucalyptus.

Mrs. Erin Cartwright Haddock served as matron of honor. Mrs. Ashley Eaddy Cannon; Mrs. Lisa McInnis Coker, sister-in-law of the bride; Mrs. Maryanne Coker, sister-in-law of the bride; and Miss Lauren Leigh Millwood, sister of the groom, all served as bridesmaids. Miss McInnis Kate Coker, niece of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid. Emily Grace Coker, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.

The groom’s father served as best man. Mr. Brian Andrew Anclade; Gabriel Smith Coker, brother of the bride; Mr. Justin Dana Coker, brother of the bride; Mr. William Wayne DesChamps III, and Mr. Shane Anthony Carney, all served as groomsmen. Justin Smith Coker, the bride’s nephew, served as ringbearer.

Brice Coker, nephew of the bride; Elizabeth Haddock, godchild of the bride, and Wright Haddock, godchild of the bride, served as program attendants.

Mr. James E. Calk was organist, Mr. Brian Buss was trumpeter, and Mr. Jeremy Vause was soloist. Wedding music selections included Pachelbel’s Cannon in D, Surely the Presence and Trumpet Voluntary by Clark.

The bride’s parents entertained with a reception at Pawleys Plantation Clubhouse. The groom’s parents entertained with a rehearsal dinner at Roots in Georgetown. A bridal brunch and kitchen shower were hosted by Amanda Gallup, Erin Haddock and Erica Haddock hosted at the home of Erin Haddock; An Engagement Toast and Oyster Roast, was hosted by the groom’s aunt and uncle, Judie and Lee Edwards at their home; A bridal shower was held at Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church Family Life Center; a Bridal Luncheon an Shower was given by the groom’s cousins, Mary Campbell, Linda Proctor, Allison Grantham, Shirley Rogers and Reaves Langdale in Pawleys Island; and a Bridal Luncheon hosted by Mrs. Elaine Benson at her home in Pawleys Island.

Following ar honeymoon trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Pawleys Island,
