The Choppee High School Class of 1969 celebrated their 50th class reunion on December 27-29 at the Litchfield Beach Resort in Pawley’s Island.

The theme was “Everything Has it’s Time.” Presiding was Roseman Deas, Class President. The classmate memorials were done by Clementine Linen Deas and Martha Parker Cobb. Entertainment on the night was performances by Albertha G. Franklin, Ida L. McCullough, Ruby B. Green, Linda D. Barr and Tena G. Ponteau. The former teachers attending were Mrs. Fostina G. Shubrick and Mr. Edward T. Davis was the special guest.

Everyone had a marvelous time dancing and socializing with each other and the food was delicious the entire weekend. The Class of 1969 thanked God for allowing them to fellowship together on this special occasion after fifty years of graduating.
