Georgetown Police, Georgetown County, City of Georgetown, Waccamaw Workforce Development Board and Favor Grand Strand: Faces and Voices of Recovery invite the public out to the Howard Auditorium on Feb. 18 from 6-8 p.m. for a special program entitled, “Substance Abuse and Recovery in the Georgetown Community.”
“Not My Child,” a 40-minute documentary helping families understand substance abuse and recovery will be shown during the program. Afterward, stay and enjoy a pileau cook-off between Georgetown City Police and Georgetown City Fire.
Attendees will also be able to visit local community organizations to find out about the many resources available to Georgetown County residents.
From 8-9 p.m. those who wish may take in a FAVOR Recovery Meeting.
