Jacquelyn Renae Broach and Brandon “Randy” Scott Akers were married on May 26, 2018, in Pawleys Island. Lee Brockington officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Sandra Teal Broach and the late Ronald Freddie Broach of Coward. She is the granddaughter of Jack Teal and Betty Teal of Lake City, and the late Freddie and Ruth Broach of Coward. She is a graduate of Francis Marion University and is employed as the Public Information Officer for Georgetown County.
The groom is the son of Lisa Akers of Shelby, North Carolina. He is the grandson of Faye Nesewich Akers and the late Bob L. Akers of Conway, and the great-grandson of Ruby Wessinger Reichert. He is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University and is employed with Georgetown County Parks and Recreation.
Maid of Honor was Brooke Haselden of Coward. The flower girl was Austen Mai Guerin of Conway.
The Best Man was Ian Guerin of Conway, and the ring bearer was his son, Sawyer Jack. The bride’s brother, Jason Ronald Broach, was an honorary groomsman.
The couple will reside in Georgetown.
