Hyatt Elizabeth Kirwin and Sullivan Harper Williams were united in marriage on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Pleasant, S.C. The Reverend Doctor Bradford Nihl Henderson, a close family friend, officiated at the six o'clock ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Patrick Kirwin of Mt. Pleasant. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Barbara Jennings Zobel of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Georgetown, and the late Mr. Harold Earle Zobel, Mrs. Patricia Smith Kirwin McArdle of Silver Spring, Md., and the late Mr. James Joseph Kirwin.
Hyatt is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of South Carolina and is a fifth grade teacher with the Charleston County School District.
The groom is the son of Mr. Michael Lee Williams of Sullivans Island and Ms. JenLu Chalker of Charleston. Sullivan is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Anastasia Kelly Williams of Mount Pleasant and the late Mr. Richard Earl Williams, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dumond Foster Chalker of Pendleton, S.C.
Sullivan is a graduate of Clemson University and is an engineer with Banks Construction Company, Charleston.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Matron of honor was Courtney Kirwin Stone, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Reilly Griffin Williams, sister of the groom, Frances Grace Williams, sister of the groom, Kelly Ann Hilsin, Sarah Ann Britton, Jenna Lynn Rogalski, Susanna Porcher Murray, Madison Scott Byron, Gionna Leigh Lesky, and Catlin Brigette Moquin.
Best man was Robert Scott Dodds. Groomsmen were Patrick James Kirwin, brother of the bride, Robert Chilton Stone, brother-in-law of the bride, Andrew Davis Cisco, Terrence Levine Jefferson, Ryan Aldridge Owens, James Curtis Ward, Nicholas Reames Myers, Marcus Elliott Plumb, and John David Collins.
Wedding greeters were Mary Grace Seaton and Anne Montague Edens, and readers were Bridget Clabby Pearsall and Michael Raymond Paul.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception in the Cedar Room at the Cigar Factory, Charleston. Music was provided by Infinity Show Band.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents on Friday, July 21, at Goldbug Island, Mount Pleasant.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the newlyweds will be at home in Mount Pleasant.
