The Carolina Coast Cotillion celebrated its 13th annual Holiday Ball, Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Marriott Grande Dunes Resort.

The evening began with a reception for the members and their guests with a cocktail hour in the Grand Foyer, with Cynthia Senatore playing the piano. Guests were greeted upon arrival by debutantes, sons and parents in a receiving line on each side of the foyer.

The event continued in the Atlantic Ballroom where 13 debutantes were presented and four sons recognized by Alice Williamson DuRant, Carolina Coast Cotillion president, and Ross Conard DuRant, former Carolina Coast Cotillion son. Rebecca Nissen, harpist, played throughout the presentation.

A dinner was served following a dance by the fathers and their daughters and the mothers and their sons. The evening continued with dancing and entertainment provided by the Summer Daze Band.

Numerous parties honoring the debutantes and sons were held throughout the summer by members and friends.
