Surf the Earth posts kayak races results

Steele Phillips won the boys 12 and under divsion in the kids paddleboard event at the Pawleys Island Kayak Races earlier this month.

Once again the Pawleys Island Kayak Races, hosted by Surf the Earth, were a great success earlier this month.

Here are the results:   

Kids paddleboard
Boys under 12: first, Steele Phillips; second, Charlie Matar; third, William Hudson.
Girls under 12: first, Chloe Benston; second, Rowan Besse.
Kids single kayak
Boys under 12: first, Walker Crosby; second, Rivers Krask; three, William Hudson.
Girls under 12: first, Georgia Ann Mattar;  second, Jenna Snead; third, Emma Marshall.
Kids tandem kayak
Under 12: first, Chloe Benston and Rowan Besse; second. Harper Lewis and Walker Brown.
13-18: first, Allie Marshall and Morgan Manos.
Single kayak
Women’s master: first, Kristin Matar; second, Suzy Madden.
Women 19-39: first, Emily Barton; second, July Barton.
Open female tandem kayak
First, Madison Bass and Amelia Jones; second, Ronnie Hayes and Renee Marshall; third, Loren Hill and Logan Hill.
Master open ocean paddleboard
First, Steve Phillips; second, T. Runion; third, Josh Lake.
Open kayak
Men 19-39: first, Michael Batsie; second, Jake Bukley; third, Josh Moore.
Master kayak
Men 40 and over: first, Sam Harrelson; second, Robert Clarck; third, Jack Dent.
