Carvers Bay High School basketball coach Jeff Mezzatesta is once again hosting a summer camp for boys and girls ages 9-15.
The ninth annual event will be June 10-13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the high school.
Campers will be divided into “Cubs” and “Bears” to work on fundamentals and conditioning, and to learn the rules of the game, and about sportsmanship.
Mornings will be spent on drills, and then teams will be chosen and games will be played.
Cost is $40 per child and includes lunch. There is no discount without the lunch option.
The gym’s concession stand will also be open during the camp. Parents can pre-pay for snacks so their child does not have carry cash.
Send an e-mail to jmezzatesta@gcsd.k12.sc.us for a registration packet. Parents can also register their child starting at 8 a.m. on June 10.
