Two football preseason traditions will happen on Aug. 22, when Coastal Carolina University hosts “Meet the Team” and “Ladies Night.”
Also, fans that have purchased their 2013 season tickets can pick up their packets at Brooks Stadium from 5-7 p.m.
The Chanticleers will practice from 4:10 p.m. until approximately 5:55 on the practice fields. Fans will be allowed to watch practice that day, but must remain in the bleachers on the practice fields for safety purposes.
Fans and the team will then move to the Brooks Stadium concourse/Benton Field sidelines area to sign autographs/take pictures from 6 until approximately 6:45.
“Ladies Night” will begin at 6:45 pm with registration and cocktails (heavy hors d’oeuvre and beverages) until 7:15 pm on the third floor of Adkins Field House.
Head coach Joe Moglia will welcome the group and explain the night’s format.
After 45 minutes in breakout sessions, Moglia will once again address the group with the event ending at approximately 8:20 p.m.
Those interested in attending “Ladies Night” can call 843-349-2268 to register or ask questions. The cost is $15 for season ticket holders and $25 for non-season ticket holders in advance.
Cost for walk-ups that evening is $35.
