As school year ends, all eyes turn to fall

It may only be spring, but the boys of fall are already started preparing for the 2012 season, as the football teams at all four county high schools have had several weeks of spring practice.
Georgetown held a spring game on Friday and Carvers Bay held a scrimmage with game-type situations on Monday. Waccamaw's game was rained out and Andrews chose not to hold a game.
The schedules for 2012 are:
Carvers Bay: Aug. 17, bye; Aug. 24, hosting Johnsonville; Aug. 31, hosting St. John's; Sept. 7, at Andrews; Sept. 14, hosting Georgetown; Sept. 21, at St. James; Sept. 28, at C.E. Murray; Oct. 5, at Scott's Branch; Oct. 12, at Hemingway; Oct. 19, hosting East Clarendon; Oct. 26, hosting Timmonsville.
