COLUMBIA, S.C. — Mercom Corporation, a provider of network technology services, today announced that it will expand its existing operations in Georgetown County. The $1 million investment is expected to generate 30 new jobs.

Mercom specializes in design, integration and installation of information technology systems and program and project management in the commercial and government sectors. The company will expand its facility on Pawleys Island to meet increasing demand for its services.

We celebrate Mercom's decision to expand its Pawleys Island operation with an investment of $1 million and the creation of 30 new jobs. South Carolina continues to show it's the right place for a business to grow and prosper,” said Gov. Nikki Haley.
