Easter events taking place this week

The City of Georgetown does not have an Easter egg hunt this year but here are some other Easter events taking place in the area as announced by the county:
• March 27 – Easter egg hunt at the Choppee Recreation Center, 6 p.m. Free and open to kids ages 5-12. Eggs are filled with candy and toys. There will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Call 545-3275 for information.
• March 28 – Easter egg hunt at Morse Park, 6 p.m. Free and open to kids ages 5-12. Eggs are filled with candy and toys. There will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Call 545-3275 for information.
• March 29 – County offices are closed for Good Friday.
• March 30 – Easter egg hunt at the Beck Recreation Center, 10 a.m. Free and open to kids ages 5-12. Eggs are filled with candy and toys. There will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Call 545-3275 for information.
• March 30 – Easter egg hunt at the Hammock Shops Village in Pawleys Island, 3 p.m. Take a picture with the Easter Bunny and enjoy cottontail punch and cookies. The hunt is for children ages 2 to 10. (Information about this event was incorrect in Wednesday's print edition).
