Detention Center officer charged with supplying contraband

Kelvenia Davis

A Georgetown County Correctional officer is on the other side of the law.
On August 29, Georgetown County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kelvenia Davis after they says she provided contraband to inmates.
Davis was a correctional officer at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
According to the investigation, Davis was transporting contraband into the detention center and providing it to inmates. Davis is charged with one count of furnishing prisoners with alcohol or drugs, one ount of Furnishing Prisoners with contraband and one count of public official misconduct in office.
A judge gave Davis a $15,000 bond.
