Broad Street recaptures roots

  • Friday, August 29, 2014

To the Editor:

The original layout of the City streets envisioned Broad Street as the entrance to the City.

The charrette recommended the same thing. The signage consultants also made the same recommendation.

As the former Chair of the Charrette Steering Committee, I commend the City Council and the Mayor for moving forward on this critical project for the betterment of the City.

Simply put, with this, we re-capture our historic roots!
