Chocolate Sunday set at plantation

Enjoy an afternoon of delectable chocolate treats, hors d’oeuvres and performances by wonderful musicians and dancers including talented winners of the 2014-2015 Young Treasures Scholarship Competition.

The Cultural Council of Georgetown County will be hosting Chocolate Sunday on Sept. 14 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the historic Springfield Plantation, 872 Samworth Loop in the Plantersville community.

The cost for this event is $75 per person – $65 for members and includes desserts, hors d’oeuvres, chocolate martinis, wine, beer and iced tea.

Decorative glasses designed by noted local artists will be offered for purchase, as well as several items at auction.
