Heightened security

Chris Sokoloski/South Strand News The Georgetown County School District upgraded the security at the entrances of several schools in the district over the summer, including Carvers Bay High School. After being buzzed into the school, visitors are restricted to a small enclosed area and then into the front office. Plastic panels have been added inside the office to separate visitors from staff.
