WHS Volleyball Scrimmage

Eileen Keithly/South Strand News Waccamaw High School hosted a Junior Varsity, all-county volleyball scrimmage Aug. 19. Georgetown, Carvers Bay, Andrews, and Waccamaw High schools each played two games during the scrimmage. In game No. 1 for the Warriors, sophomore Reagan Bass, #1, sets the ball high for her teammate freshman Lauren Hammond, #2. Hammond passed the ball forward to sophomore Aayanna Fitzgerald, #10, who sent the ball over the net resulting in a Waccamaw score. At the ready in the back-court is #20, freshman Makenzi Hendrix. Andrews defeated Waccamaw 26-24.
