Fishing report

On Aug. 15 the Georgetown Landing Marina reported fishing was strong inshore and offshore. It had Big Sky and Miss Wy out trolling with a total of 11 Wahoo, eight Tuna, and one gaffer Dolphin. There were no small Wahoo in this bunch with most being in the more than 40-pound range and a couple more than 50 pounds. The Big Sky crew came up with one of the largest Black Fin Tuna it has seen in a long time that weighed in one ounce shy of 37 pounds. The Tarpon are biting and Capt Harry Oxner and crew released one and, Top Knotch Charters with Capt Robert Mayer released two with his charter guest.
