Falk to speak at WID luncheon

The Women in Defense (WID) Palmetto Chapter is pleased to announce Commander Brian Falk, as their 22 Aug. 22 monthly luncheon speaker.

Commander Falk serves as the new Deputy Commander, US Coast Guard (USCG) Sector Charleston. Commander Falk manages over 700 active duty, reserve and civilian men and women in conducting all USCG missions in the states of South Carolina and Georgia.

Along with sharing his distinguished career record, Commander Falk will share about the USCG activities in the Lowcountry, the impact those activities have had on his career, where they are headed, and how industry can partner in supporting the USCG moving forward.

When: Fri., Aug. 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Doubletree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Charleston Airport, 7401 Northwoods Boulevard, North Charleston.

$20 member / $25 non-member. The meeting is open to the public.

You may pay in advance and take advantage of the express check-in line at the event by using PayPal. The cost is $21 for members and $26 for non-members (price difference for PayPal credit fee.) The email address for payment is palmetto.WID@gmail.com. All RSVPs and cancellations must be submitted by COB Mon., Aug. 18. Cancellations, after this date and no shows will be billed. WID will not accept checks. Cash only at the door.
