Good Samaritan Fund

  • Friday, August 15, 2014

The Sant Frances Animal Center places donation boxes in local businesses and the funds derived from these store banks go into a special account called the Saint Frances Animal Center Good Samaritan Fund.

This fund pays for special surgeries and/or emergency medical care for SFAC animals. Because of the Good Samaritan Fund, the center has been able to save almost every cat and dog brought into the facility in 2014. SFAC’s Animal Live Release Rating has now climbed to 93.9 percent in 2014.

SFAC is on a mission to get more of the boxes into local shops, restaurants and retail stores in the community. Each box costs $20 so the center is currently looking for sponsors.

If you are interested in sponsoring five boxes for $100 or donating to the Good Samaitan Fund, please call SFAC, 843-546-0780. The center is looking to purchase at least 100 new boxes.
