Yard sale: There will be a mega mission yard sale from 7 a.m. - until at Thomas Supply parking lot, sponsored by Bethel AME Church Carolinian Misssion Project. For information call 546-4898.

Greater bible way: The Greater Bible Way Bible Way Church of Georgetown, 1518 Hawkins St., will be having Kidz Connection for children ages six to 12 from 10 a.m. to noon.

back to school rally: Plantersville Elementary School will be having a Back to School Rally at 4 p.m. for parents and students. Food, fun and games. Free school supplies will be distributed for students who are present.

Low Country Vets: Low Country Veterans meet from 11 a.m. to noon at The Meeting Place, Georgetown.

farmers Market: The Georgetown farmers market at East Bay Park is every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Pawleys Island farmers market at the Waccamaw Regional Recreation Center is every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Daylily Club: The Georgetown Area Daylily Club will meet at 2:30 p.m. at Browns Ferry Gardens, 13515 Browns Ferry Road, Georgetown. The club will be voting on the most popular daylily grown in the region.

VFW DINNER: VFW Post 6444, its Ladies Auxiliary and guests will have dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Adults, $7; children 6 to 12, $3; and under 5 years of age, free.
