Habitat for Humanity house destroyed by fire

Fire destroys home This home at 1940 Hampton Ct., in Georgetown was destroyed by fire Wednesday night, July 30. Georgetown City firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control which, they speculate, began on the front porch. Sinding on neighboring houses melted in the intense heat, including the street’s newest Habitat for Humanity build which is nearing completion. The Red Cross was called to aid the fire victims.
