Camp to explore Waccamaw

Horry County 4-H will be hosting a water quality day camp, “4-H20: Exploring the Waccamaw.”

The camp will take place Aug. 5 to 7, from 8 a .m. to noon at Cox Ferry in Conway. The camp is open to children ages nine to 14.

They will learn about watersheds, hydrology, and life in the water as they dissect fish and kayak in the river.

Registration fee is $45 per child. Lunch is provided daily. Deadline for registration is August 1.
