Georgetown County Sheriff’s Investigators have charged two men for a strong armed robbery which occurred in Murrells Inlet.
On May 2, around 11:30 p.m. a man entered Not 2 Shabby located at 5190 Highway 17 Bypass through the unlocked front door, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
“The suspect pointed what appeared to be a hand gun at the victim and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in an unknown direction of travel,” a press release states.
Through an extensive investigation, two suspects were identified and arrested. Samuel Tyrice Coleman, 24, of 48 Bragdon Avenue in Georgetown is charged with one count of Armed Robbery While Armed with a Deadly Weapon, and one count of Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime. Soloman J. Coleman, 48, of 1223 Indian Hut Road, Georgetown is charged with one count of Armed Robbery While Armed with a Deadly Weapon.
Both are currently being housed at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
