Pawleys Plantation: Men’s results for July 21

The game was four man teams Stableford scoring with the best three total scores added together. Paul Amthauer was the medalist with a score of 84 while Peter Raymond had the low net score of 67. First at 115 were Phil McKean, Tom Hood, Bill Harrington, and Bacil Dickert, and second at 108 were Joe Ferreira, Peter Raymond, Tom Molnar, and Richard Clark. Closest to the pin: Paul Amthauer on three at 6’9”, Peter Raymond on seven at 9’9”, Roy Oberg on thirteen at 12’5”, and Tom Hood on seventeen at 14’1”.

The Ladies league played one low net of a twosome. The winners were Pat D’amato, Suzanne Strasser and Diane Hicks. The bright spot of the day was Pat D’Amato’s birdie on hole 2 which allowed her to make her first 79 in league play.

Cape Fear National Golf Club: Senior four-ball one day tournament results July 14

Lanny Correll of Pawleys Island with partner Steve Denney –low net at Cape Fear for CGA Sr 4 Ball Tournament.

This win allows their team to play in the Tournament of Champions at the end of the year.
