Knights have ‘sure hands’

  • Friday, July 25, 2014

From left Colin Peterson, Operation “Hope” chairman; Lorry Altman; Elizabeth Krauss, executive director of Georgetown DSN Board; Francis Honyotski; Bill Kennedy, Grand Knight of Council #3067; Dwight Frazier, Deputy Grand Knight; and Yvonne Goodin, director of Growth Enterprises.

Recently, the Knights of Columbus, Council #3067, made a gift of a “Sure Hands Lift” to the Georgetown County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs.

This automatic lift is versatile and useful for supporting people with disabilities at the Boards’ programs. Operation HOPE made this donation possible through funds gathered in the council’s Tootsie Roll drive.

The Knights said “The Georgetown community’s giving spirit during the tootsie roll drive made this possible.”
