Two charged with operating a chop shop

Two people have been charged with Receiving Stolen Goods and Operating a Motor Vehicle Chop Shop in the Sampit Community, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Information was obtained by deputies that stolen items were possibly at 226 Harold Drive in Sampit.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. Friday, a search warrant was executed which resulted in several confirmed stolen items at the residence including a golf cart, a four wheeler and a motorcycle, the Sheriff's Office reports.

Sheriff's Investigators are continuing to work the scene and more stolen items are expected to be recovered.

Diamonda Teaira Fann, 25, of 226 Harold Drive, and Tremayne Raymond McKenith, 41, of 2314 Duckett Street, Apt. B, in Conway were both arrested at the scene and transported to the Georgetown County Detention Center. Fann and McKenith are each charged with three counts of Receiving Stolen Goods and one count of Operating a Motor Vehicle Chop Shop.
