My name is Tuesday F. and I have my opinion to share with the world about divorced parents with children. So, here it goes.
When my parents got divorced, I was totally sad, but I also had many questions. For instance, where is Devlin (my dog) gonna go? How am I gonna split my clothes between two houses? My most important question: how is Mama and Daddy gonna split up the days?
I soon found out that my parents had a court meeting thing discussing everything that had to be done with me and my sister or even finances. Now this is where my opinion comes in, that the children, if old enough to understand the situation, can have a say in the amount of days and when they are gonna be with each parent. It may not have to be exactly what the child suggests, but it sure would make them feel important in the very hard transition. Think about it.
