St. Frances Animal Center of Georgetown has many animals seeking new homes. The Georgetown Times features Pets of the Week each Wednesday.
Theodore is an adorable domestic short-hair with a personality to match. He is often a little shy in the beginning, but opens up in time. He is as friendly as they come, and would be the perfect match for any family.
Unlike the movie “Rocky,” I haven’t been in any fights, or won any championship belts for boxing. I am actually very timid when it comes to meeting other dogs and people. Once I get to know others around me I become a social butterfly. So I guess you could say, “I fly like a butterfly and never sting like a bee.”
This is Festus, a two time resident of Saint Frances. Festus came in as a pup with some serious medical injuries. Since then this sweet boy has grown up into a handsome young man.
All of his medical injuries were taken care of and we are happy to say that our guy has a clean bill of health. Festus is just under a year old and still has the attitude of a puppy.
He does listen, and follow basic commands, as well as walk on a leash. He is very social with other animals both cats and dogs, and loves all people.
If you are interested in adopting our sweet boy Fessy, come check him out today.
For information, call 546-0780 ext. 222, or visit at 125 Ridge Road, Georgetown. Appointments are preferred.
