The Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce has named Beth Stedman as its director of communication and programs.
Stedman, a Murrells Inlet resident, recently served as associate director for women’s programs and initiatives at Coastal Carolina University. She previously worked as a regional community development agent for Clemson University Extension Service in Georgetown County during which time she served on the chamber’s board of directors and facilitated Leadership Georgetown County. Stedman earned a master’s degree in mass communication-public relations from the University of South Carolina and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wofford College with degrees in government and English.
